The Twilight Zone is the long-awaited debut album by Israeli producer Mascalito (Alon Amir). Alon is also one of the minds behind the well-known full-on psytrance project Wako-Delic. this time Alon arrives with a new vision, mixing up night music and forest elements with a full-on drive. The idea behind this project is to connect the full-on and night music movements, to cross “the crack between worlds” as the second track alludes to.

D Noir is ready to reveal Amniotic, the debut release by Italian producer Antithesis (Antonio Monteleone). In the biological world, the Amnios is defined as an embryonic annex that forms a membranous sac which surrounds the embryo. The mother, through the amniotic casing, acts as a safety filter from the external environment, protecting the unborn child. Antithesis defines this image in his debut with groovy bass lines intending to replicate the form of these umbilical cords. They are then crossed over by sounds coming from synths, like input signals from the world of today technology. This is his attempt to represent life and its essence through music, his sound reconstructed to relive this before-birth experience, its dangers and torments, its beauty and oblivion, the utopia and its eventual deconstruction, finally immersing into reality. Focusing on a cross-genre atmosphere, from psychedelic trance to gothic and even industrial, its goal is to break the common boundaries of psytrance and express a refreshing and deep style based on H.P. Lovecraft’s work. This arcane lore is translated into slow and dark atmospheres, violent leads, intelligent drums, and melancholic melodies, including two collaborations with major artists Ajja and Mark Day.
